For those of you who didn't know, they used to teach mathematics a little differently. Here's how they do it now.
This video has been corrected from the original "New Math" video. This video now has the correct representation of the old math and has removed the 176 error. Also, the sync has been fixed.

It seems that parenting in blender messes around with object's Loc and some kind of 'relative' Loc data. Rot data also seems to respond a bit randomly to parenting - at least when parenting to vertex, that is. Re-parenting solved the issue. Beside that I unknowingly created loop, where two parts of pistons' were tracking each other instead of tracking their respective axles. Now it works :)
